• Good quality headset - using speakers is NOT acceptable
• USB digital pedal
• Phone line

• The Record Player - available free at http://www.fortherecord.com
• MS Word for most clients
• Word Perfect - Necessary for some legal clients

Some legal work requires a specific decompression software, which we will provide.  It will be a free download from our server.

We recommend that you do not buy software and/foot pedal to use with working with Clark Fork unless you have passed all the tests and are working and it appears that it would be valuable for you to do so.

Start Stop sells software, foot pedals and headsets.  For the Record also sells excellent quality foot pedals and headsets. It does not matter to us where you obtain your equipment so long as it works with the software you are trying to use.
